Calling All Birders Table Runner
SUPPLIES:
For the bird bodies, wings and beaks choose a variety of 6-8 coordinating fat quarters or layer cake (both the layer cake and fat quarters will provide fabric for outer scrappy border).
Background fabric - 1/2 yard
Border fabric - scraps or 1/4 yard
1 Fat Quarter of solid black or color of your choice for the legs
Thread for top stitching around bird applique pieces. (Sample used Black thread)
Pellon 805 fusible web (my preference but you can use any fusible web)
Sewing Supplies:
Sewing machine in good working order, thread, seam ripper, pins, scissors, fabric marker, ruler and rotary cutter.
Prior to Class:
Iron fabrics but do not use starch. The starch causes a reaction with the fusible web and can sometimes cause it not to stick.
*All classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling if the need arises. If a class has to be cancelled or rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new class, your class fee will be refunded to your Sunshine Quilt Shoppe account.
**Cancellations without 1 weeks notice are not refundable.
