Quilted Patchwork Handbag - Machine Embroidery

Quilted Patchwork Handbag by Sweet Pea Machine Embroidery Designs. 

This will be a 2 day class.

Day 1 - You will bring your Embroidery Machine. We will be doing 6 hoopings for the exterior of the bag. If you don't finish them on Day 1 you will have 6 days until the next class to finish them. 

Day 2 - Sewing the bag together.

This bag has 3 sizes. Finished sizes (approx.):

• 5x7 = 25cm wide x 18cm high x 5cm deep (10” x 7” x 2”)
• 6x10 =30cm wide x 30cm high x 5cm deep (12” x 12” x 2”)
• 7x12 = 38cm wide x 31cm high x 5cm deep (15” x 13.7” x 2”)

(These are the supplies for the large 7x12 bag. If you are doing a different size refer to your pattern.)

Batting
Cut 2- 9" x 14" (Embroidery parts)
Cut 4 - 6" x 14" (Embroidery parts)
Cut 1 - 7" x 15" (bottom of bag)
Cut Away Poly Mesh Embroidery Stabilizer
1 layer cake for the exterior of the bag (this will give more variety)
1/4 yard - for bottom of bag (7" x 15")
5/8 yard - for lining of bag (Approx. 19" x 31.5")
1/4 yard - for straps of bag (cut 2 - 4" x 20")
Optional - 1 3/4 yards Fusible SF101 for bottom of bag, lining and straps. 
Variety of embroidery thread
Bobbin thread
Embroidery scissors
Embroidery tape
Seam ripper
Pins and/or wonder clips
Embroidery machine and sewing machine in good working order


*All classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling if the need arises. If a class has to be cancelled or rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new class, your class fee will be refunded to your Sunshine Quilt Shoppe account.
