The Sew Together bag is a fantastic little bag that can be used in so many ways. You can use it to carry your sewing supplies; it will hold a rotary cutter, 8” scissors and lots of notions. It is also a perfect bag for travel or just a day- to -day bag that will hold your phone, keys, money/credit cards and so much more! It has 3 zippered pockets and four open pockets that are all held together with one long zipper that forms two side handles.
Finished measurements are 10” x 5” x 5”.
Exterior Fabric 1 Fat Quarter (Or you can make it scrappy)
Lining 1/2 yard
Pocket Lining 1/3 yard
Binding 1 Fat Quarter
1 yard Fusible Interfacing (SF101)
Batting Scrap 18" x 22" piece
1 - 18" Zipper
3 - 9" Zippers

Sewing Machine in good working order with owner's manual
Zipper Foot, 1/4" foot and all purpose foot.

Homework
All fabrics and interfacing need to be cut and fused to fabrics. If you are making a patchwork or scrappy exterior please have that done prior to class. Class time will be focused on how to construct the bag.
1. Read through pattern directions.
2. Cut out all fabrics pieces and fuse interfacing.
(*If using a wider zipper or zipper by the yard you will need to cut the 2 tabs at 2" x 6". This will allow the zipper to lay better.)
3. If making a patchwork or scrappy back please complete that before class, fuse fleece or batting and quilt exterior.
Class level is intermediate.
You will need basic sewing skills; experience inserting zippers is helpful but NOT necessary. We will walk you through the process!
*All classes are subject to cancellation or rescheduling if the need arises. If a class has to be cancelled or rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new class, your class fee will be refunded to your Sunshine Quilt Shoppe account.
